Hundreds of people from different places in this province today held a massive march to demand that Congress raise the populous city of Cienfuegos sector located on the west side of Santiago. The walk organized by the Committee for Cienfuegos City, departed from the peripheral hospital that sector up to Tamboril Avenue where a crowd of people gathered.
The activity was attended by representatives of community organizations, religious, professional, business and other social sectors in the west of Santiago.
Committee Chairman Pro Cienfuegos Municipality, Hipólito Martínez, highlighted the enthusiasm and support for the project shown by different organized sectors of the neighborhoods that make up Cienfuegos.
residents participated in the walk of El Ingenio Arriba, El Ingenio Below, Ensanche Mella I and II, Monterrico, La Piña, Ciudad Satellite, widening Espaillat, Monte Rico, Valle Bonito, La Union, Santa Lucia, El Snuff, The Ambush Rafey, Western Gardens, Private , Los Robles, Duarte neighborhood, New Millennium.
